{"id":11108,"date":"2025-10-06T14:43:34","date_gmt":"2025-10-06T14:43:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ihoxfordlecce.it\/?p=11108"},"modified":"2025-10-06T14:43:38","modified_gmt":"2025-10-06T14:43:38","slug":"pro-officine-mezzogiorno-le-classi-ii-e-iii-della-scuola-secondaria-oxford-protagoniste-allevento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ihoxfordlecce.it\/en_gb\/2025\/10\/06\/pro-officine-mezzogiorno-le-classi-ii-e-iii-della-scuola-secondaria-oxford-protagoniste-allevento\/","title":{"rendered":"For Officine Mezzogiorno, the 2nd and 3rd year classes of Oxford Secondary School were the stars of the event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday <strong>25 September 2025<\/strong>, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm, classes II and III of the Oxford Middle School enthusiastically took part in the final event of the project <em>For The Southern Workshops<\/em>, held at the Officine Cantelmo in Lecce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-un-ricco-programma-giornaliero\">A rich daily programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The morning opened with a <strong>Coding workshop<\/strong>, during which IT experts guided the youngsters in discovering the programme <strong>Scratch<\/strong> and of the <strong>Basic programming of a Micro:bit board<\/strong>. Thanks to the PCs provided by the organisation, the pupils were able to try their hand at writing their first simple codes directly, thus practically experiencing the potential of digital technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following this, the boys tested themselves in an activity of <strong>design and construction<\/strong> truly original: using simple materials \u2013 sheets of paper, sticky tape, glue, scissors, and even spaghetti \u2013 they created <strong>Bridges and towers<\/strong>.
